Ok, I phoned Laverdière's office and pointed out the error in the English translation. They'll fix it.

During the election Trump appointed openly Zionist people as his key advisers on the Arab/Israeli file and he clearly stated that as president he would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel so this move cannot be considered collusion as it has been done above board by Trump and his advisers. They would actually be going back on their word if they did not recognize Jerusalem as being the capital of Israel during their first term in office. Trump's alleged collusion with Russia is completely different as it is said to have been done below board. On the other hand, Hillary said that as president she would not recognize Jerusalem as being the capital of Israel as that would hinder the peace process.
